At the American Academy Primary School our first concern is for the safety and well being of your child. We believe that a foundation of love and security is necessary for children to grow socially, emotionally, intellectually and academically.

We encourage children:

Classes:
  • We believe that children learn best in smaller classes and at a group pace. We have therefore limited the size of our classes to no more than 24 children.
  • We support and extend learning using games, drama, crafts, films, interviews, discussions, portfolios, projects, and field trips
  • We offer special ESL provision for children identified as having additional needs in English fluency.

The School Day

Primary School WP300 - 3
  • Our School day begins at 7:30 am and ends at 1:40pm. There is supervised play until 2:00pm.
  • There are two breaks during the day: one from 10:00 - 10:20 and the second from 11:50 - 12:10.
  • After school supervision and homework assistance is offered each day from 2:00 - 4:30.
