AAN
Life at AAN

Since the founding of the school in 1922 our tradition has been to nurture and develop the twin goals of education and responsibility.

A good school is one that looks after each and every member of the school community. Together we are able to enjoy education and have a desire for learning through the many opportunities offered during the school day and wealth of extracurricular activities.

Life in the American Academy seeks to offer an excellent all round education in accordance with a spirit emanating from the Christian principles of love for God and our neighbour, affection for one’s country, in full enjoyment of the joys and pleasures of youth.  We pride ourselves with the close relationships we have with our students which is based on mutual respect.

I hope that the students at the Academy realise that their motivation is every bit as important as their ability. We strive to give young people the skills and attributes that will enable them to take their place in society and have a real impact for good.
